Beach Hotel
The Beach Hotel was the first hotel on the beachfront, built on the plot of land adjoining Inverleith Terrace and close to the tram terminus on the beach front. It opened its doors on 22 January 1894.
It was one of East London's most beautiful landmarks until it was flattened in 1964 to make way for the Kennaway Hotel.
